The Earth Is Flat Because the Sky Says So

Though hidden in clouds of yesterday,
the sky bulges with the weight of the world.

Outside, I look up at gray folds swollen with the tears
of a one-dimensional world.
Inside, they look at me, same gray folds swollen with the tears
of a lifetime on an earth so flat, a life of depleting reality.


Indeed a challenge! Love it!
